I think Floating Cinemas should provide more of this kind of close reading of examples of cinema types. It would be great to have an event where different presenters do close readings of short excerpts. Especially from the point of view of different practices - photography, architecture, philosophy, writing, drama, music etc.
I'm starting this thing called the You Tube Review, where I embed stuff from You Tube and... er... review it. Maybe we could encorporate pieces of that onto this blog?
